Pragmeta Knowledge Clout is a small start-up service company that was established in April 2009.
Via the advocacy for a Convention on Knowledge Commons (CKC), the company aims to be a catalyst in a society that is seeking improved utilization of knowledge and the mobile web to achieve sustainable growth. The Collective Regulative Bundle (CRB) is the methodological approach. Key Knowledge Commons components and a Smallholder Common Engagement Platform are being constructed.
While the company must be sustainable itself to fulfill its mission, it does not seek excessive centralisation of resources, nor the creation of price barriers for smallholders. Income is secured from paid-for time-based services to specific customers, and from the offering of CRB-compliant publications to specific stakeholder groups.
The CKC growth model pursues accelerated growth and deployment of systematized knowledge commons. The CKC will have different membership schemes. It recognizes the coexistence of knowledge commons and proprietary knowledge in interactions. Private sector partners are explicilty encouraged to elaborate and commercially offer to specialized markets, knowledge assets that extend the systematized knowledge commons.
